Phillips takes pride in the development of athletes of all ages and believes that hockey is not only a great game, but is also a valuable tool for helping young athletes learn valuable life lessons. He believes that the priority of any team sport should be in the enjoyment of the game, but also believes that players must work hard to compete and improve themselves constantly.
